Vehicle Mechanics

The Nevada Automotive Test Center, located 30 miles east of Carson City, currently has immediate openings for vehicle mechanics.  Duties include repair, troubleshoot and overhaul Research and Development test vehicles with knowledge in gas and diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical, lighting, hydraulics, welding, etc.  Fabrication skills are a plus!  Computer diagnostics training and experience on late model vehicles required.  Manufacturer training and experience, ASE certifications and/or CDL a plus.  Shift work and some overtime required.  Must be team oriented, self starting, have good writing and documentation skills, some customer interface.  Must have own tools. A Nevada Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
