Personal Care Assistant – On Call
Primarily Swing and Graveyard Shifts
Classic Residence in Reno, formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt, is a leader in the senior industry providing quality homes, care and services that allow older adults to live life to its fullest.
As Personal Care Assistant you will provide personal care and support to residents. Assignments include:
· Assisting residents with activities of daily living
· Providing medication assistance
· Documenting medicine management and prescriptions
· Assisting with light housekeeping
· Supporting and encouraging activities and socialization
The qualified candidate will possess:
- willingness to work a variety of shifts or work days
- a resident and customer-focused approach to problem solving
- a courteous, professional, respectful and compassionate manner
- discretion in handling confidential information
- previous experience working with geriatric clients
- Basic English communication skills
- high school or G.E.D equivalent
- Current Medication Management, First Aid and CPR certification a plus.
